Local delivery can be arranged if required and a range of accessories such as a helmets, locks or lights are also available to purchase. Adventure 240 kids MTB – £100
This is an ex-rental 14″ hardtail aluminium mountain bike with 24″ Wheels. It has front suspension, 7 speed gripshift gears and is equipped with mudguards and kickstand. The Adventure brand is from the Madison stable (Genesis, Ridgeback, Shimano) so they are decent quality and ideal for some of the off-road tracks and trails around the area. It has had light summer rental use only for a few years but still in good shape and well maintained as you would expect. Recently serviced and ready to go.

HSK (Kettler) Alu Rennraad – £125
This is an interesting bike, and ultra rare in the UK. Launched in 1978 by Kettler of West Germany, the HSK Alu Rennrad was the first mass produced aluminium road bike available. Very lightweight, this model was welded unlike some models which pioneered glueing the frame tubes into lugs. This particular bike has Shimano FE and Skylark derailleurs fitted which would suggest it was an early example as most came with the later Shimano 600 series.
It would make a great town or city runabout….. super cool in Berlin! It is in excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically the paintwork has around 45 years of “patina”. It has been recently serviced with new tyres, cables and bar tape etc so it’s ready to go.
Frame size is 23″ which is equivalent to a modern Large.
